Does Mick Jagger think he’s too rugged for a close-up? Sources tell us the Rolling Stones legend refused to have a close picture of his face taken while out clubbing in New York last week. The rocker, looking in top form, was at Double Seven for photographer Ben Watts’ birthday Thursday night, and a source said, “only agreed to have his photo taken if it wasn’t a close-up.” But an agency photographing the event issued a cropped picture of Jagger’s handsome visage. We’re told an event organizer, “saw the photo and didn’t think it looked good, because his eyes were half-closed, and asked for it to be removed from the agency’s site.” The photo had disappeared from the site last night. Another source said the move was to avoid upsetting Jagger, who is not believed to have seen the picture nor asked for it to be deleted. His spokeswoman said, “Mick is photographed at parties all the time and has never complained about a picture. Nor does he ask to be photographed in a particular way. I don’t believe it.”
