The Russian Tea Room was once a haunt for show-business power players — including director Sydney Pollack (who shot a scene in “Tootsie” there with Dustin Hoffman), ICM agent Sam Cohn (who ate there daily and whose clients included Paul Newman and Meryl Streep), former Warner Bros. president of production Mark Rosenberg and Woody Allen.

Last week, Ellen Kaye, whose parents owned the place from 1947 to 1996, opened her own red-colored Russian hot spot, Moscow 57, downtown.

Kaye’s also a singer, and she performed at the Delancey Street restaurant Thursday night as patrons downed Moscow Mules into the wee hours and guests included former French Vogue editor Joan Juliet Buck.
