‘The Croods’ fan Jeff Koons wrote letter to Jeffrey Katzenberg

Jeff Koons was such a fan of “The Croods,” he convinced Hollywood mogul Jeffrey Katzenberg to share it with the LA art world.

Quirky Koons saw the animated film about a caveman family with his own brood in South Africa over the holidays.

The jet-setting sculptor was inspired to write the DreamWorks Animation boss that it was “a wonderful film” and “life-changing journey about the first family on Earth,” a source told Page Six.

To showcase the artistry, Katzenberg hosted an ICM screening with gallerist Larry Gagosian, artist Ed Ruscha, Liz Goldwyn and LA County Museum of Art trustee Maria Bell.

Spotted at a Mr. Chow after-party were artist Alec Monopoly and Irving Blum, who famously bought 32 Warhol “Campbell’s Soup Cans” for $1,000 in the 1960s and sold them for $15 million in 1996.

Katzenberg arrived with Bobby Shriver from Gov. Cuomo’s fund-raiser. Eva Chow said she was jet-lagged from attending husband Michael Chow’s first solo show as an artist in Hong Kong.

“Croods” has taken in $587 million and is nominated for an Oscar.
