LiLo’s probation expected to be revoked for ‘lying to police’: report

Lindsay Lohan is back in LA for a court hearing in which her probation is expected to be revoked.

The “Liz & Dick” actress will be charged with the criminal offense of lying to police, according to TMZ. She says she was not behind the wheel of her Porsche when it crashed into a 18-wheeler on the Pacific Coast Highway in June. LiLo claims that her assistant Gavin Doyle was the one behind the wheel of her Porsche during the crash. He and several witnesses later told police it was in fact Lindsay who was driving.

Sources have told TMZ that the Santa Monica City Attorney will be ready to file a criminal case over the next few days, and it will then go to LA County Superior Court judge Jane Godfrey for arraignment.

The insiders said that once the troubled starlet is charged, Judge Godfrey will revoke her probation and schedule a full hearing to about the violation.

Lohan has been on probation since her jewelry theft incident in July 2011, for which she was sentenced to 120 days in prison and 480 hours of community service.

Lindsay could face jail time if convicted.
