Crystal’s clear at amfAR – model says size doesn’t matter

Beauty Crystal Renn appears in the latest campaign for lingerie line Agent Provocateur, but the former plus-sized model believes she would’ve gotten the gig even had she not dropped four sizes to an 8. “It wouldn’t have mattered what size I am,” she told us at amfAR’s gala Wednesday at Cipriani Wall Street. “That’s not what they’re about. Sexiness for them is not about a pants size. It’s about an essence, personality, confidence, energy. Think of the girls they’ve always used, like Kate Moss. It’s an energy.” Renn, decked out in a red Zac Posen gown and Lorraine Schwartz jewels, was among guests including Michael Strahan and Nicole Murphy, Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Sandra Lee, Sarah Jessica Parker, Carine Roitfeld, John Legend, Karlie Kloss and Ashley Greene. Kenneth Cole, Heidi Klum and Janet Jackson were honored for contributions to AIDS research. Cee Lo Green performed before an after-party kicked off at SL. But one guest who didn’t make the cut was Linsday Lohan. Sources told us she was turned away at the door, but later popped up at Marquee to see DJ David Guetta play.
