Russell Brand has opened up about post-divorce life and his thoughts on his ex-wife Katy Perry’s new man, John Mayer.
After Perry and Brand divorced last year he’s been linked to various mystery women, but Perry seems to have settled down with Mayer and the couple have even gone public with their relationship.
“What do you make of your ex-wife dating John Mayer?” Howard Stern asked Brand during a recent sit-down on his radio show. “Doesn’t she know that he’s a worse womanizer than you?”
“Worse or better, depending on how you view it,” Brand shot back.
“He’s a better womanizer than you,” Howard said.
Like the serial-dating Mayer, Brand is known for his hookups with many women and taking the bait, the comedian replied, “Hold on, I resent that! I’m world class!”
However, he got a bit emotional and added, “You have to let go of the instinct to protect someone once you divorce them.”
Brand was questioned further by the shock jock and even tried to ask about Perry’s body parts. But Russell responded, “That woman was perfect from top to bottom.”
The “Arthur” actor has recently been linked with fellow divorcee Demi Moore but denied rumors they are dating.
“I really like her, she’s a beautiful person. I’ve not made love to her yet, Howard, but it’s a matter of time,” he joked. “That’s the sort of thing that’ll get in the newspaper.”
Brand, however, seems to be looking to find a nice girl to settle down with.
“I’m not dating anybody. Actually, I’d like a romance,” he added. “[I’m] just going through life, meditating, doing yoga, concentrating on this TV show and trying to find a nice wife.”
