Clint’s daughter a Paris deb

The archaic tradition of the debutante ball, where maidens are formally introduced to adult society, is alive and well in Paris, where Ophelie Renouad will throw Le Bal at the Crillon Hotel for the 19th year on Nov. 28. Of 24 girls from around the world, Francesca Eastwood, 16, the daughter of Clint Eastwood and Frances Fisher, leads the American contingent, which includes Forest Whitaker‘s daughter Autumn, 17, and Alix de Gramont, 16, of Santa Barbara. Among the English debs is Lady Kitty Spencer, 18, the daughter of Earl Spencer, Princess Diana’s brother. Kitty lives with her mother, Victoria Lockwood, in South Africa. Angelica Hicks, the great-granddaughter of Lord Mountbatten, is also coming out. From China comes Ariel Ho-Kjaer, 16, whose grandfather, Stanley Ho, founded a gambling empire in Macau.
