Socialite Tinsley Mortimer gets unreal

Tinsley Mortimer‘s upcoming reality show will be as fake as her platinum blond mane, sources tell Page Six.

Producers have urged the socialite to “create more drama” for the as-yet-untitled CW docu-soap by launching public catfights with her close friends and chasing men played by good-looking hunks who appear to be actors.

Tinsley was filmed downing shots of absinthe, squabbling with pals and competing with her sister, Dabney Mercer, over men at Apotheke in Chinatown Tuesday night. A spy reports, “The whole bar was filled with camera crew and people with earpieces.

“Tinsley and her friends were being filmed watching [owner] Albert Trummer do his regular fire show [where he sets absinthe aflame] when one of the producers stepped in to spice it up.

“The producer whispered something in a friend’s ear and she immediately began fighting with Tinsley. They were screaming at each other. Things simmered down, and the girls were downing shots, when a guy suddenly came in. All four of them were talking to him, but Tinsley was really flirting — she and her sister seemed to be in competition over him.

“The producers obviously wanted it to look natural, but he looked pretty made-up, like an actor.”

We previously revealed that producers of the show, which promises to “lift the curtain on New York’s most talked-about ‘Park Avenue Princess,’ ” have had difficulty finding willing participants.

But they’ve finally settled on four. Besides Tinsley and Dabney, the show will feature Hannah Bronfman, 22, daughter of Warner Music Group chairman Edgar Bronfman Jr. Also tapped is writer Paul Johnson-Calderon, whom we reported on last March when video cameras caught him leaving the Eldridge with a hostess’ handbag. The matter was resolved and no charges were brought.

Executive producer Andrew Glassman did not return calls.
