Charlie Sheen says he was just joking about marrying his girlfriend, porn star Brett Rossi over the weekend — he only said it to annoy his ex-wife, Denise Richards.
The “Anger Management” actor Tweeted a photo of himself and Rossi together from Iceland over the weekend, with the message: “This is the house ware M Gorbachev R Reagan did some epic. it’s also where S and I GOT MARRIED! #RumorMillUhPede”
But Sheen told TMZ on Monday that the whole thing was a joke. “I wanted to give Denise [Richards] a stroke!!!”
Sheen battled with his second ex-wife over the holidays after he accused Richards of not letting him see their daughters Max and Lola over Christmas.
Had Sheen and Rossi actually got hitched, it would have been Sheen’s fourth marriage.
Perhaps the hashtag ‘#RumorMilUhPede’ on Sheen’s Tweet about the marriage should have given fans a clue that Sheen was pulling the public’s leg.
Rossi this morning left a message on her Twitter feed scolding fans for taking Sheen’s tweet seriously.
