Beauty brands are trying to sign Caitlyn Jenner

Caitlyn Jenner is being courted by beauty brands to become a spokeswoman. MAC Cosmetics, which is owned by Estée Lauder, has already had “several high-level meetings over the past few months” with Jenner to discuss becoming a face of the colorful cosmetics line.

Jenner — formerly known as Olympics champ Bruce Jennerre-emerged into the public eye Monday as Caitlyn on the cover of Vanity Fair, captivating the public.

But we’re told months before the cover was unveiled, execs at MAC were already discussing the possibility of having Caitlyn as a spokeswoman. “They’ve been debating the pros and cons and whether it would be a good fit or not. There’s a camp that’s so excited and another that’s a bit more cautious,” a source told Page Six.

MAC has over 700 stores worldwide, and Jenner would follow in the footsteps of LGBT-friendly MAC representatives including RuPaul, Ricky Martin, Elton John and k.d. lang. Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj have also been spokesmodels. The line’s motto is “All ages, all races, all sexes.” MAC declined to comment.

Page Six ran into Estée Lauder group president John Demsey at the CFDA Awards Monday night at Lincoln Center, and he described Caitlyn’s Vanity Fair cover as “simply amazing, iconic, epic, disruptive, bold, glamorous,” adding, “There’s never been someone with that level of celebrity who’s ever done something so bold and so visible in public, and it’s done very elegantly and glamorously.” Demsey last year signed Kendall Jenner as the face of Estée Lauder.

Caitlyn Jenner’s emergence was the talk of the CFDAs, attended by fashion bigwigs including Tom Ford, Anna Wintour, Michael Kors, Alexander Wang, Pharrell, Gigi Hadid and Karlie Kloss.

Kim Kardashian told us she was on hand to help Jenner pick clothes for her stylish Vanity Fair shoot by Annie Leibovitz. She added, of the reaction to the shoot, “I love that everyone has just been so kind and so gracious, and that’s all that she really wants.”
