After laying low since filing for divorce from Nets star Kris Humphries, it appears Kim Kardashian is ready for the limelight again. The reality TV star will co-host an upcoming episode of “Live! with Kelly Ripa,” and has also released a commercial for her latest perfume.
Kardashian announced on her blog last night that she will co-host Kelly Ripa’s talk show on Jan. 23. Since Regis Philbin’s departure in November, Ripa has been recruiting co-hosts ranging from Rob Lowe and Jerry Seinfeld to Kardashian ex Reggie Bush, who appeared on the show Monday, saying that he looks forward to marriage and raising “a little Reggie.”
Kardashian wrote on her blog, “I’m so excited to reveal that I will be co-hosting Live! with Kelly, with the wonderful Kelly Ripa on January 23!! I’ve been wanting to share this news for weeks now!! I can’t wait to see Kelly! Xo”
According to TheWrap.com, Kardashian will interview “Glee” star Kevin McHale during the show and will also share insight on the upcoming seventh season of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
It will be one of Kardashian’s first US public appearances since Oct. 31, when she declared her relationship with Humphries over. While she did step out to ladle soup at the Los Angeles Mission on Thanksgiving and celebrate New Year’s Eve at Tao nightclub in Las Vegas, the one-time ubiquitous star has largely kept to herself.

On the same day as her “Live with Kelly Ripa” announcement, Kardashian also released a commercial for her fourth fragrance, True Reflection. In the retro ad, Kardashian distances herself from her sex-pot image. She pulls up to a white mansion in a vintage car, her hair tied in a demure scarf. She enters the mansion with a hair toss, and glides up a grand staircase to her room, where she puts on stockings and a glamorous grey dress. Staring at her image in the mirror, she smiles as a mysterious man rings the doorbell.
Kardashian reveals on her blog that she shot the spot over the summer, before she married Humphries.
“My TV ad for my fourth fragrance, True Reflection, is finally here!” she writes. “I shot this in August at this amazing house and we went for a fun retro feel this time around. My new fragrance is so different from my previous fragrances and I can’t wait for it to be released. I hope you guys will love it as much as I do!”
