The woman who married Robert Kardashian after his divorce from Kris Jenner is alleging that Khloe Kardashian is not a biological daughter of the high profile lawyer. While Kardashian’s third wife also supports this claim, a rep for Khloe Kardashian tells Page Six “the story is absolutely not true.” Other sources close to the family are dismissing the story as patent fabrication as well.
The rumor, which has circulated quietly for years, got attention today when Jan Ashley, Robert Kardashian’s second wife, told Star magazine that, before his death, Kardashian confessed to her that youngest daughter Khloe was not his child.
“He just kind of looked at me and said [it] like it was a matter of fact,” reported Ashley, who married Kardashian soon after his divorce from Jenner, though they eventually split too. “[Robert] said, ‘Well, you know that Khloe’s not really a Kardashian, don’t you?’ And I said…’OK,’ and that was it.”
After splitting with Ashley, Kardashian went on to marry Ellen Kardashian, just two months before his death from cancer in 2003. Ellen similarly believes that Khloe is not her late husband’s biological daughter. She claims that her husband questioned his paternity because Jenner had cheated during their marriage. Jenner recently came clean about her “wild” affair with a man named “Ryan” in her book, “Kris Jenner and All Things Kardashian.”
According to Ellen, “Robert did question the fact that Khloe was his. Any normal man would if they knew their wife had cheated on him … Khloe brought it up all the time. She looked nothing like the rest. She was tall, had a different shape, light hair, curly hair. Didn’t look anything like the other three children.”
Still, Ellen said her husband never would have tried to shirk his fatherly duties because of paternity.
“He never would have considered a DNA test,” said Ellen. “He loved her very much.”
Despite the corroboration between the two women’s stories, the claim still seems far-fetched. Khloe bears a striking resemblance to her sisters and her face shape is nearly identical to Robert’s visage. Sources also note that Kardashian looks very much like her grandmother.
A source close to Kris Jenner tells Page Six that the rumor is ridiculous.
“Of course Khloe is Robert Kardashian’s daughter,” the source says. “This [rumor] is coming from the same women who locked [Jenner’s] kids out of the house when their father was dying.”
Khloe has taken to Twitter herself to respond to allegations.
“The audacity you have to mention my father’s name like this!” she wrote, appearing to address Ashley and Ellen Kardashian. “Should be ashamed of urself! I let a lot of things slide but this one is really low… YOU ARE DISGUSTING! (yes you know who YOU are).”
