Madonna reveals the details of her new album

Madonna is certainly loving initials lately. Shortly after the Oscar-qualifying run of her movie “W.E.” comes word that the Material Girl’s new album will be titled “M.D.N.A.”

Madonna appeared on “The Graham Norton Show” today in the UK, and revealed the title, saying that the album would be out at the end of March.

“It’s soon. It depends how quickly people hack in to my server and leak it,” the singer said, joking about the recent leak of her song “Gimme All Your Luvin’.” “Can people wait? It’s terrible … It’s very confusing behavior.”

Madge also shared that her daughter Lourdes Leon, now 15, was in charge of approving the tracks for the new album.

“I do play her songs and see what she thinks,” explained Madonna. “She is very opinionated. She’s very mature for her age.”

The title “M.D.N.A.” appears to be the singer’s name, minus a few letters. It could also reference genetic code, abbreviated DNA.

The title could also be inspired by rapper M.I.A., who appears on “Give Me All Your Luvin'” along with Nicki Minaj. The single will be officially out on Feb. 7.

The release date is four days after “W.E.” opens in theaters and two days after Madonna’s performance at the Super Bowl halftime show.
