Angelina and Brad make pit stop at White House

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt visited President Obama at the White House today.

While in DC for the premiere of Jolie’s directorial debut “In the Land of Blood and Honey,” the superstar couple headed to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., where they spoke with Obama, Deputy White House Press Secretary Jamie Smith confirmed.

The two spoke about “[Angelina’s] work to raise the profile of preventing mass atrocities and combating sexual violence against women,” explained Smith.

Jolie has reportedly asked politicians for their opinions on her film, a love story set during the Bosnian War. Last month, Jolie shared that she had spoken to former President Clinton about the movie, and was anxious to hear Gen. Wesley Clark’s reaction. It’s unclear if Obama had seen the film.

Yesterday, Jolie gave a diplomatic response when asked if she thought Obama was doing a good job as president.

“There are many many things I think have gone in a wonderful direction, and there are a few things I am disappointed in,” she told the Daily Caller. “And I don’t feel like tonight is the night to clarify but there are many wonderful things that have moved forward and, of course, some other things that are very frustrating.”
