Howard Stern won’t make his “America’s Got Talent” debut until May, but is already telling Jennifer Lopez to watch her back. “I think I’ll be the gold standard,” Stern says in an interview to air tomorrow on “Inside Edition.” “I think Jennifer Lopez, Randy and Steve need to watch the show and learn.”

Rihanna drooled over 59-year-old actor Liam Neeson on the set of “Battleship,” in addition to crushing on Alexander Skarsgard. The songstress spoke to Company magazine in a newly released interview, saying of Neeson, “I fell in love with him when I watched ‘Taken’ and I was so star-struck, I couldn’t even look at him on set.”

Mel Gibson may not get to direct the tale of Judah Maccabee after all. Warner Bros. has put on hold a controversial project which had Gibson — caught on tape going on an anti-Semitic tirade in 2006 — directing a movie about the Jewish uprising celebrated during the holiday Hannukah. The Wrap reports today that the project has fallen through.

Kim Kardashian is gunning for photo op with Beyonce. A source told Hollywood Life today that the reality TV star is pressuring reported boyfriend Kanye West to make it happen because, “She thinks if she’s seen with someone like that everyone will like her again.”

One Direction’s band name may soon head south. The British boy band du jour, that got their start on “The X-Factor,” is being sued by an American band of the same name, The Sun reports. While the American group formed in 2009, holds the patent to the name, and says they alerted One Direction to the overlap back in September, they now reveal that they “reluctantly have filed a lawsuit.”
