Jamie Foxx had to be prodded to peform at Vevo’s Ne-Yo and Friends concert in LA the other night. While Sean Combs, Keri Hilson and Kelly Rowland joined Ne-Yo without persuasion, Foxx — who rarely gives up a chance at the mike — took a bit of convincing. A spy reports, “He didn’t notice Ne-Yo was calling him to the stage since he was busy texting. Once he realized, Jamie shook his head to say no. Ne-Yo responded, ‘I know Jamie Foxx is not saying no to a microphone!’ Jamie then relented and got onstage.” An excited Jenny McCarthy gave Ne-Yo a friendly slap around the face, “but mistakenly hit him a little too hard,” our spy added.
