Mary J. Blige flashes furs outside of Fashion Week

Mary J. Blige sure knows how to dress for a polar vortex. In fact, she looks as if she’s wearing one.

The singer showed off her swirling pelts for the glam cams Monday outside Lincoln Center, site of New York Fashion Week, where she sat front row at a show by Madison Avenue fur designer Dennis Basso.

The queen of hip-hop soul has never met a fur she didn’t like: Blige has a history of challenging PETA over her right to wear the pelts, and donned a Dennis Basso fur for an appearance on “The View” in December.

This coat, made of a small tent of bleached alabaster sable and lynx furs, is worth a cool $100,000, according to a designer spokesperson. But for Mary J., it came gratis from the designer. No word on whether the wrap was a keeper for the diva.
