Katie Holmes has signed a huge deal to be the face of Bobbi Brown. Sources tell Page Six that Holmes was in talks with the Estée Lauder-owned cosmetics line for several weeks. One said, “The deal was signed on Tuesday. It’s a huge beauty contract for Katie, one that will make her the face of Bobbi Brown but also allow her to bring some of her own creativity to the company, like many of the celebrities who have worked with MAC. She will collaborate with Bobbi Brown, and appear in ads early next year.” Another source tells us, “Katie was in the office all day on Tuesday with Bobbi. She was walking around freely and wasn’t being secretive at all. She was incredibly friendly to everyone she chatted with. Everyone thought she was very, very nice.” As we exclusively reported, Holmes is working hard through Fashion Week to expand her horizons and business empire following her split with Tom Cruise. We first revealed Holmes will present her spring 2013 Holmes & Yang ready-to-wear collection at the tents on Sept. 12. And she was to present the Designer of the Year Award to Carolina Herrera at last night’s Style Awards at Lincoln Center. The divorce has also boosted Holmes’ acting career. She’ll star in Broadway comedy “Dead Accounts” to open Nov. 29. She recently shot a modern adaptation of Chekhov’s “The Seagull” and will soon begin shooting “Molly,” which — suggesting she’s also taking creative control of her movie career — she co-wrote and is producing and is about a single mother and daughter. Holmes is also to star in romantic comedy “Responsible Adults.” Her rep didn’t return calls.
