Potential leads for the highly anticipated “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie adaptation have rotated like a game of musical chairs and now Mila Kunis has expressed interest in playing the erotic novel’s heroine.

Kunis, who’s been dubbed Esquire’s Sexiest Woman Alive, has long been linked to the role of innocent Anastasia Steele, who’s involved in a kinky relationship with businessman Christian Grey.

For the first time, the 29-year-old admitted she could have a “good time” playing the part.

“There are times when you just want to do something fun and different, because you’re going to have a good time doing it,” the stunning actress told The Sun about playing the female lead from the E.L. James book series.

Meanwhile, two actors expressed interest in playing Christian Grey.

James Franco said he’d be up for it, under one condition, when he was asked at Sundance by The Sunday Times about the role: “It sounds interesting, I heard Gus [Van Sant] might direct it. If he directed it, I’d do it.” Van Sant, who’s behind films like “Milk” and “Good Will Hunting” is not currently attached to direct.

Likewise, Lindsay Lohan’s porn star “The Canyons” costar James Deen said he’d be up for portraying the frisky tycoon.

“It seems like a character I could have a lot of fun with,” Deen, who’s apparently starred in 4000 skin flick titles, told Entertainment Weekly. “I’ve heard really mixed responses about it, like, ‘Oh, it’s a cheesy Twilight wannabe.’… [but] I think it could be fun. I feel like it could be a really cool, fun role to work on.”

As previously reported, the “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie won’t be toning down the book’s explicit content.

“There is going to be a lot of sex in the film,” said screenwriter Kelly Marcel in an interview with The Sunday Times in early January. “It will be rated NC-17. It’s going to be raunch. We are 100% going there.”

As for who will play any of the roles, Marcel remains tight-lipped.

“Ha-ha! No actor would sign up to a film without a script. That would be insane,” she said.

Names like Matt Bomer, Henry Cavill, Ian Somerhalder and Ryan Gosling have been tossed around to play Christian. Emma Watson, Emma Stone and Keira Knightly have been suggested to play Anastasia.
