Justin Timberlake is a major tease.
JT first got the Internet in a tizzy with an announcement in early January…which turned out to be a countdown clock to a different announcement and the words “I’m ready”…which FINALLY resulted in a new song, “Suit & Tie,” released Jan. 13.
Even if the upbeat jam was divisive to listeners, the 31-year-old’s return to music got many folks excited regardless.
Three days after the track’s debut, he released a TEASER for a lyric video…a day later (today) he finally released the lyric video itself…which isn’t the real music video. No, we’ll have to wait a little longer for that. Hopefully Jay-Z, who raps on the track, will actually show up in the actual video .
To be fair, Timberlake looks really good in the black and white video. The dapper former boybander channels Frank Sinatra and puffs away at a cigar and drinks dark liquor. He flaunts some Michael Jackson moves, drives a classic car and we also get a glimpse of his wedding ring.
At the end of the video, Jessica Biel’s hubby smashes through a glass panel that says “The 20/20 Experience Coming Soon.” March 19, his album release date, also flashes on the screen. Can you wait any longer?
