He’s gone from chauffeur to chauffeured.

Barkhad Abdi — who was a Minnesota limo driver before his breakout as a Somali pirate opposite Tom Hanks in “Captain Phillips” — surprisingly won a BAFTA for best supporting actor in London Sunday, beating out Bradley Cooper, Matt Damon and Michael Fassbender.

After the awards, spies saw Abdi rolling up to posh hotel Claridge’s in the back seat of a limo.

“He was signing autographs from the car and outside the five-star hotel,” said a spy of the newcomer.

News reports said Cooper exclaimed, “Who’s that?” when Abdi won. But the actor denied the rumors by explaining he told director David O. Russell in the audience how “awesome” the win was.
