Former Canadian ambassador to Iran Ken Taylor — who was immortalized in Ben Affleck ’s “Argo” — celebrated his 79th birthday, and wedding anniversary with wife Pat, at Primola on Friday. The US Congressional Gold Medal winner was spotted hosting 34 guests at the dinner, and the group headed to a blues club after to continue the party.
Also at the Upper East Side eatery were Joe Torre, Pelé, Harry and Linda Macklowe, singer Gideon Grove and Ingrid Bergman’s daughter Pia Lindström, who was overheard telling friends about her son Justin Daly’s first film, “Douglas Brown.”
She and Elettra Wiedemann will host a friends-and-family screening before a premiere at the Soho House.
