Pauly D sued for 10 percent of his earnings

Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio Jr. is being sued by his former talent agency.

According to E! News, International Creative Management filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday stating the the “Jersey Shore” star not only owes them $370K in commissions, but also should be required to pay them 10 percent of whatever he makes during season six of the hard-partying series.

PAULY D HIT WITH $4 MILLION TRADEMARK LAW SUIT

The lawsuit gives a peak into Pauly D’s bank account, revealing that he will be earn $150K for each episode of season six of “Jersey Shore,” totaling $2.1 million for the 12-episode arc. The company claims that they are entitled to a cut of the cash since, “standard custom and practice in the entertainment industry that talent agencies are entitled to post-termination commissions on all deals they negotiate for their client.”

ICM says that they began representing Pauly D during the first season of the hit show, and brokered many deals for him and his production company, Blowout Enterprises. The company appears to have some sour grapes about Pauly D leaving the agency in May of 2011.

“No deed goes unpunished, however, and DelVecchio ultimately terminated the representation,” the lawsuit states.

Meanwhile, Pauly D’s lawyers reached out to E! News to comment on the lawsuit.

“We are surprised by ICM’s contention that it is due commissions after ICM was terminated in favor of William Morris Endeavor,” a statement read. “ICM was paid for its services. It is even more disappointing that an agency like ICM would choose to take advantage of its former relationship with a client and disclose his confidential business affairs to the public in disregard of any duties it owes as a talent agency.”

This is not the first time Pauly D has been sued.

Last summer, a Connecticut DJ who spins under the name DJ Paulie filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against the “Jersey Shore” star to the tune of $4 million, saying that his business had been damaged by the gel-loving reality TV star.

It’s unknown how, or if, the case was settled.
