A Russian masseuse is suing one-legged Manhattan multimillionaire Thomas Hartmann for $10 million after he slashed her face with his solid gold Rolex.
Ex-stripper Sophia Kandelaki has slapped Hartmann — a construction worker-turned-real estate magnate, thanks to a settlement after a cop ran over his leg — with a suit for “loss of earnings” and “serious injuries.”
In February, Bentley-driving Hartmann was sentenced to 60 days in jail after Kandelaki, a former Scores dancer, told a court he hit her after a flirtatious exchange outside restaurant Baraonda turned nasty in April of last year.
Kandelaki, who now practices tantric massage, told us she was dining with a friend when “a man I had never met before started harassing me. I ignored him, and he followed me. He was aggressive, and his sexual energy was exploding over me. He threw money at me, I threw it back, he started beating me.”
She suffered a 6-inch gash on her face from his Rolex as Hartmann slapped her. Kandelaki continued, “He attacked me from behind, he grabbed my hair, he was uncontrollably drunk and violent. I was bleeding everywhere.”
Kandelaki, who was shopping a reality show about her life before the attack, said she later learned taht Hartmann had a prosthetic leg and had won a $15 million settlement after a Nassau County cop ran over him while trying to arrest him in 2004.
She added, “He did seem a little wobbly. I believe he felt could buy any woman he wants because of his settlement.”
Kandelaki’s lawyer, Sal Strazzullo, told us: “She was vindicated in the criminal trial. Now she is going to win a settlement for the emotional and physical damage she suffered.”
Joe Tacopina, a lawyer for Hartmann, who was released from jail after serving 35 days, said: “She is an admitted liar. Also, she could be facing some immigration issues. There is not a scenario where she can get one dollar out of this lawsuit.”
