Demi Moore has returned to Twitter after months of radio silence on the micro-blogging site. Moore posted a photo of herself late last night, lying down in a bed while wearing a sweatshirt and pair of slacks. The once prolific tweeter, who still uses the handle “@mrskutcher,” last tweeted in early January, shortly before she was hospitalized after smoking an unknown substance at a party.

At long last, close-up images of Angelina Jolie’s engagement ring are available. The 16-carat ring was designed by jeweler Robert Procop, in close collaboration with Brad Pitt, to accentuate “Angelina’s long, slender fingers.” Us Weekly‘s expert estimates that the ring is worth $500,000.

Tupac Shakur’s mother, Afeni Shakur, was thrilled to see her son virtually “perform” alongside Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg at the Coachella Music Festival last night, her rep tells TMZ today. While Tupac has been dead for 16 years, he was able to appear onstage thanks to the use of a very realistic hologram in the most talked-about moment of the annual festival.

While reports have surfaced that “Downton Abbey”‘s Dowager Countess, Maggie Smith, had requested to leave the hit show after its third season, filming now, a rep for Carnival Film and Television Limited tells The Los Angeles Times today, “There is no truth in the story that Maggie is leaving the show.” Shirley MacLaine, however, will be joining the show’s cast for the third season as Lady Cora’s mother.
