Graydon Carter’s partner in the Beatrice Inn are taking over John’s of 12th Street, but the Vanity Fair editor-in-chief won’t be involved.
Brett Rasinski is the new owner of the 105-year-old Italian restaurant, according to EV Grieve, a Web site covering the gentrification of the East Village. Carter might be too busy with Beatrice, Waverly and Monkey Bar, plus dealing with reluctant cover girl Gwyneth Paltrow.
