NJ ‘Housewives’ star Teresa Giudice doesn’t want brother to raise her kids

Embattled “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice thanked her supporters yesterday and told confidants that she doesn’t want her kids raised by her brother.

Facing a slew of serious federal charges including conspiracy, wire fraud and bank fraud, Giudice realizes she might spend time behind bars and is already thinking about the fate of her four young daughters.

She reportedly doesn’t want Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana to go to her brother Joe Gorga and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga. The Gorgas and Giudices have been feuding on the Bravo show but in the current season, they’ve appeared to make peace.

“Teresa would rather die than let the kids go to Melissa,” a source told RadarOnline. “Teresa has been telling people that she isn’t going to go to jail because she has four kids, and that no judge would take a mother away from her children.”

Giudice and hubby Joe have been indicted for allegedly making false statements on loan and bankruptcy documents.

Joe Giudice has been charged with allegedly failing to file tax returns for his earnings in 2004 through 2008.

Teresa Giudice told fans she’s keeping a stiff upper lip in the face of this federal prosecution.

“I really am trying to let things roll off my back. I just want my family together and at peace, no matter what. Insult me, make fun of me, do what you will. I’ll keep being a ‘good little girl,’ ” she wrote on her blog yesterday.

Giudice said she appreciates all good wishes.

“Thank you all so much for your support this week,” Giudice wrote. “I appreciate it more than you will ever know. xx”
