Police investigate Justin Bieber’s security team after Hamptons brawl

Justin Bieber’s entourage is under police investigation after the star’s night at a Hamptons hotspot ended in a bloody brawl.

The “Beauty and the Beat” singer’s security detail got into an “altercation” with fans outside of the club as the pop star was leaving.

The fight started between Bieber’s security team and people who tried to swarm the 19 year old singer as he left the club. According to the South Pointe rep, Bieber was swarmed by fans trying to see him and get his picture as he as his friends tried to load into their car. “Security was pushing people away… and that’s when the altercation happened,” said the rep.

Multiple sources tell us the altercation happened after Bieber had left the club South Pointe and a patron allegedly threw a rock at the star’s SUV.

One said, “Someone threw a rock at the car, Justin’s security stopped the car and beat him up. Justin stayed in the car and wasn’t involved.”

While sources earlier told us an altercation happened in the nightclub’s parking lot, we’re told security tapes from the nightclub confirm the incident happened away from the venue, on Tuckahoe Road.

A rep for South Pointe told us Monday afternoon: “An investigation is still pending, and we’re cooperating with that, but South Pointe is not involved in all with the incident because it happened off premise.”

Southampton Police confirmed one victim went to Peconic Bay Medical Center and later contacted officers to file an assault claim. A spokesperson said, “The victim is pressing charges,” adding that the complaint was not about Bieber but people in his entourage.

Reports said Bieber “ripped his shirt off and went nuts” inside the club, and then the fight kicked off outside.

Other reports said Justin’s security team ushered him to his SUV as the fight kicked off outside, but it is claimed the star jumped through the sunroof onto the hood of the car. The victim was reportedly knocked out during the fight.

However, a rep for the club insists Bieber never ripped off his shirt and did not “go nuts” at the Southampton nightclub.

In a statement, Shouthampton police said the alleged victim’s injuries were “determined to be minor.”

“Upon his release from Peconic Bay Medical Center, the subject responded to Southampton Town Police Department and provided a statement to Detectives that earlier this date, 08/04/13, at about 3:45 AM, while he was at the South Point Night Club located at 125 Tuckahoe Lane in Southampton, he was involved in an altercation and physically assaulted by subjects unknown to him but he believes them to be members of singer Justin Bieber’s security staff who he stated were also at the night club,” the statement said.
