Matt Lauer is superstitious about hosting “Today” even after 15 years on the job. At a bash celebrating his Hamptons Magazine cover Sunday, Lauer was heard at the Southampton Social Club saying he makes sure to arrive at work at the exact same time every morning, and walks the same route from his dressing room to the studio for every show. Lauer said he even wears certain pairs of glasses on specific days of the week. Guests at the soiree included Bobby Flay, Star Jones
and Rosanna Scotto. Despite the heat, leggy waitresses wore furry Siberian hats to pass Russian Standard Vodka shots. Hamptons editor Samantha Yanks will be honored by the UJA-Federation of New York on Thursday at its “Women of Influence” luncheon.
