He’s a single dude on a ranch.
Lovelorn actor Robert Pattinson is mending his broken heart at a sprawling homestead owned by Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon, far from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles, according to published reports today.
After Pattinson’s “Twilight” live-in girlfriend Kristen Stewart admitted she had a fling with her “Snow White and the Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders, Pattinson reportedly moved out of their LA love nest this past weekend.
Now Pattinson’s holed up at the $7 million ranch owned by his “Water for Elephants” colleague Witherspoon in picturesque Ojai, Calif., sources close to them told Usand People magazines.

“[Pattinson is] total mess,” a sources close to the actors told the mag. “He’s questioning everything.”
Stewart is “inconsolable” following her public apology and has been trying to text and call Pattinson with no success, a source close to the actress said.
“She’s dying to save the relationship,” the Stewart pal said. “It’s the only thing she cares about.”
While Pattinson is cooling his jets at Witherspoon’s ranch, Stewart is reportedly crying on the shoulder of her long-time “Panic Room” pal Jodi Foster.
They’ve had a mother-daughter relationship since they co-starred in the 2002 thriller, RadarOnline reported.
“Jodie loved Rob and is disappointed with Kristen for cheating on him. However, she knows at 22, she’s still very young and unfortunately people make mistakes in life. She thinks Kristen will learn from this and will only grow into a more mature person because of it,” a source close to the actresses said.
“She [Foster] certainly has no intention of turning her back on Kristen during such a difficult period in her life.”
Meanwhile, Pattison is in no hurry to speak to Stewart – or anyone for that matter.
He’s cancelled publicity appearances set to promote his upcoming movie “Cosmopolis,” according to “Entertainment Tonight.”
The dark drama is set to hit US movie screens on Aug. 17.
