Nello Balan is being sued again — this time by two suppliers to his Madison Avenue restaurant. Balan owes Bronx-based West Conn Meat nearly $28,000, according to a suit filed in Queens Supreme Court, and owes East Side fish supplier Pisacane Mid-Town Corp. $16,400, according to a Queens Civil Court suit. “Nello’s has always been a slow player in the industry,” said credit collection company honcho Randy Sarf, who instituted the suits. Balan is already being sued for $14,000 worth of food supplied to his Southampton eatery, Nello Summertimes. And he’s alleged to have stiffed jeweler Chopard out of $50,000 he owed for a pair of diamond earrings. The Post’s William J. Gorta reports Balan’s Madison Avenue eatery is now owned by Madison Global headed by pushcart king Thomas Makkos, who rose from a hot-dog vendor to real estate mogul. Neither Balan nor Makkos could be reached.
