Sophie Dahl, who gave up modeling to write a cookbook, comes by her vivid imagination genetically. The British granddaughter of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” author Roald Dahl is coming to town next month to hawk “Miss Dahl’s Voluptuous Delights.” Explaining why she wrote the culinary memoir, Dahl said she’s always had “nightmares and dreams involving food.” In one, I’m “being chased by men made from mashed potatoes in stripy tights, chasing me through forests.” Maybe the nightmares ended when she married musician Jamie Cullum last month.
