Halle Berry’s fiancé Olivier Martinez reportedly got into a heated scuffle with a paparazzo at LAX Airport as they got off their plane from Hawaii last night.
According to E! News, photographers swarmed Martinez, Berry and her 5-year-old daughter Nahla as they went through the terminal. It appears the confrontation occurred after the actress warned, “Get away, there’s a child.”
Eyewitnesses told the Web site that the French actor allegedly assaulted a photographer named Silvano Faccio by kicking him in the leg and the wrist. As the trio left the airport, the fotog reportedly grabbed the star’s arm and asked why he got kicked, which incensed Martinez more.
After putting Nahla into their waiting SUV, Martinez ran back into to the airport and allegedly charged back at the paparrazo and kick him again. Berry soon intervened and told her fiancé to stop and get back into their car.
LAX police arrived to the scene. Authorities have yet to release an official statement on the incident.
Martinez was involved in a nasty Thanksgiving day brawl with Gabriel Aubry, Berry’s ex and Nahla’s father. Aubry was left with a black eye and a broken rib. He eventually secured a restraining order against Martinez.
Incidentally, Berry wants to lobby for a legal ban on photographers who take unauthorized pictures of celebrity children, sources told Page Six.
