Politicians have a warped view of the world. When a baseball fan tried to get through guards as former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak entered the Waldorf with Andrew Murstein, Mario Cuomo and home-run great Hank Aaron the other day, one guard shouted, “You cannot touch Mr. Barak!” To which the fan replied, “Who is Mr. Barak? I want to shake hands with the greatest ballplayer who ever lived. Thank you, Mr. Aaron, for hitting all those home runs the old-fashioned way. You earrrrrrned it.”
