Shia LaBeouf not attending New York ‘Nymphomaniac’ premiere

Shia LaBeouf, who’s recently exhibited an array of bizarre antics, will not be attending the New York premiere of Lars von Trier’s “Nymphomaniac” next Thursday at MoMA because, organizers tell us, he has “a scheduling conflict” (and not because he isn’t famous anymore).

During the Berlin premiere of the film in which he stars, LaBeouf turned up on the red carpet wearing a paper bag on his head that said, “I am not famous anymore.”

He also stormed out of a press conference after quoting the great philosopher, French former soccer player Eric Cantona, saying, “When the sea gulls follow the trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea.”

LaBeouf’s reps did not get back to us.
