UN General Assembly week ended with Jordan’s King Abdullah II cozying up to Leonardo DiCaprio. The king and his beautiful wife, Queen Rania (who is now in the hospital recovering from a minor heart condition), dined at The Lion on Friday night, while DiCaprio, Cindy Crawford and husband Rande Gerber sat at a nearby table. Across from them were Janet Jackson and her Qatari boyfriend, Wissam Al Mana. A spy told us, “King Abdullah went out for a smoke during dinner and told the security outside, ‘If my daughter finds out that I’m sitting next to Leo DiCaprio, she’ll never forgive me.’ ” Abdullah went back inside, approached the actor and posed for two photos with him, even though cameras are banned in the restaurant. Meanwhile, Israeli President Shimon Peres dined at Lavo Saturday night. A spy reports, “He received a standing ovation when he walked in. The staff loved him — he was extremely friendly.” And Peres loved the fried Oreos.
