Schools Chancellor Joel Klein said he’s happy for Newark Mayor Cory Booker, who charmed Facebook brain Mark Zuckerberg out of $100 million for his school system when they met at Sun Valley in July. “What can I say? Cory’s a very likable guy,” Klein told us at the Harvard Club party for “The Social Network.” Klein, who could certainly use the cash for New York’s public schools, isn’t beating himself up over the missed opportunity. “After all, $100 million isn’t enough for New York,” he quipped.
