At least one more Yankee won’t be at Nick Swisher‘s wedding to Joanna Garcia this weekend in Palm Beach. Pitcher CC Sabathia told MSG reporter Jill Martin during halftime of Monday night’s Knicks-Timberwolves game that he and his wife, Amber, won’t make it. “We can’t get a babysitter. I have four kids at home. My mother doesn’t want to come out and babysit.” Sabathia added, “We’re going to have to just send a gift,” but said he didn’t know what to get the couple.

As we’ve reported, Derek Jeter also won’t likely be there when Swisher and Garcia tie the knot at The Breakers in front of expected guests including Lance Bass, Cameron Diaz and Jamie-Lynn Sigler. Sabathia sat front row at Monday’s game, which the Knicks won 121-114, along with Giants Justin Tuck and Sage Rosenfels.
