Charlie Sheen isn’t officially off the hook — at least not yet. Despite reports yesterday that the NYPD has closed the case on the actor’s wild rampage at the Plaza hotel in late October, sources insist that the investigation is still ongoing. Porn star Capri Anderson locked herself in the bathroom as Sheen went on his destructive rant. She filed a criminal complaint with police and accused Sheen of choking her and shouting racial slurs while he threatened to kill her. He then filed a lawsuit against her alleging extortion. But Anderson says she’s definitely still cooperating with the Manhattan DA’s office on her charges. “I just had a conversation with DA’s office and they have assured me it’s still an open investigation,” Keith Davidson, Anderson’s Beverly Hills lawyer, told The Post’s Laura Italiano. Law enforcement sources confirmed the probe has not been closed — although in the end, the sources acknowledged, Sheen likely won’t be charged.
