Rihanna ‘stalker’ claims not guilty on burglary charges: report

Steveland Barrow – the man who was arrested for breaking into the home of Rihanna’s neighbor – has reportedly plead not guilty to burglary charges.

Cops told TMZ in February that a 31-year-old man broke into the LA property thinking it was Rihanna’s home. He was arrested after neighbors noticed him sleeping in one of the beds and acting suspiciously.

Last week Rihanna was granted a three-year restraining order against Barrow, who was ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from the singer. A judge also told him he is not allowed to possess any dangerous or deadly weapons, such as guns or knives.

Rihanna requested the restraining order because she feared for her safety, The Sun reported. The singer’s lawyers said that she suffered “substantial emotional distress” following the incident and that Barrow will “go to great lengths to come into contact with Rihanna and has no regard for her privacy.”

Barrow is due back in court in early April.
