Shia LaBeouf buries beef with Alec Baldwin

It appears the LaBeef is over.

Shia LaBeouf attended the first preview performance of Broadway’s “Orphans” – the same play he suddenly dropped out of following a feud with his hot-tempered costar Alec Baldwin. Actor Ben Foster stepped in to replace LaBeouf.

Burying the hatchet, the “Transformers” star attended yesterday’s 7 p.m. show and tweeted a photo of his $127 orchestra-seat ticket.

He captioned, “@ABFalecbaldwin @OrphansonBway good show – all around”

According to ContactMusic, the 26-year-old actor was even seen giving the cast a standing ovation at the end of the play.

The prolific tweeter made headlines in February when he posted screenshots of his e-mail correspondence with Baldwin, director Daniel Sullivan and playwright Lyle Kessler to explain why he dropped out of his Broadway debut.

In a message titled “Creative Differences” LaBeouf posted an e-mail to him from Sullivan, which reads, “I’m too old for disagreeable situations. You’re one hell of a great actor. Alec is who he is. You are who you are. You two are incompatible. I should have known it. This one will haunt me. You tried to warn me. You said you were a different breed. I didn’t get it.”

LaBeouf also displayed an e-mail to Baldwin that talks about acting like a real man, adding, “A man can tell you he was wrong . . . He can apologize, even if sometimes its just to put an end to the bickering. Alec, I’m sorry for my part of a disagreeable situation.”

An e-mail from Baldwin in response reads, “I don’t have an unkind word to say about you. You have my word.”
