Jon Hamm has literally been taking hits below-the-belt lately and he wants it to stop.
The “Mad Men” hunk is all too aware of the uncomfortable close-ups suggesting that he prefers to go commando, and that he is extraordinarily gifted.
“Yeah, I’m familiar,” Hamm tells Rolling Stone. “Most of it’s tongue-in-cheek, but it is a little rude. It just speaks to a broader freedom that people feel like they have — a prurience.”
The 42-year-old continued about the apparent devotion to his nether-regions, “They’re called ‘privates’ for a reason. I’m wearing pants, for [bleep’s] sake. Lay off.”
Trying to keep it in perspective, he added, “I mean, it’s not like I’m a [bleeping] lead miner. There are harder jobs in the world. But when people feel the freedom to create Tumblr accounts about my c–k, I feel like that wasn’t part of the deal [of fame].”
“But whatever,” Hamm said. “I guess it’s better than being called out for the opposite.”
