“Lovelace” director Andy Bellin was teased by schoolkids because of his own mother’s exhibitionism. Bellin participated in a Q&A with journalist Kelli Zink at the opening party for Jimmy at The James Hotel in Chicago Thursday night. He spoke about a Richard Avedon exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art in New York that included nude photos of his mom, model/socialite Christina Bellin, and opened while he was in grade school. Classmates would torment him with comments such as, “Hey, I just saw your mom naked,” but added it gave him perspective while creating “Lovelace,” the biopic on porn star Linda Lovelace starring Amanda Seyfried, James Franco and Chloë Sevigny.
