Actress Anna Kendrick stars in the upcoming comedy “Drinking Buddies” — so it only makes sense that GQ inquired about her drinking habits in its September issue.
“If sex is off the table, and you’re like ‘Let’s try to get to know each other,’ I would recommend drinking. Highly,” the “Pitch Perfect” star told the magazine.
The actress admitted that she prefers beer, more specifically, “every single Belgian-style beer.”
But two subjects to never bring up on a first date — even when intoxicated — are “anything to do with the actual reality of your family, and, you know, liver cancer and how we’ve all probably got it.”
The 28-year-old plays one-half of “an admirably functional alcoholic couple” in “Drinking Buddies, which comes out on Aug. 23
