Bradley Cooper had a 72-hour Thanksgiving break from the set of Cameron Crowe’s still-untitled movie that’s filming in Hawaii with Emma Stone. But, this being awards season and all, Cooper worked in some serious schmoozing time, too, during his LA trip. The actor was spotted Friday at a Soho House West Hollywood screening of his indie movie from earlier in the year, “The Place Beyond the Pines,” hosted by producer Jamie Patricof. An after-party featured seasonally appropriate roast turkey sandwiches and other goodies. Busy Cooper — who also stars in David O. Russell’s upcoming “American Hustle” — and “Pines” director Derek Cianfrance were mobbed with well-wishers, including Ray Liotta, Russell Simmons, Tatum O’Neal, Patricof’s venture capitalist dad Alan Patricof, and Hollywood producers Mike Medavoy, David Permut and Mace Neufeld. Meanwhile, “Hustle” is having a screening in New York on Friday, with an after-party at Graydon Carter’s Monkey Bar, we hear. Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner and Russell are expected.
