Sources said the troubled actress is talking about movie roles she has her eye on, including a part as “Marilyn Monroe’s spirit,” she told friends. A rep had no comment on the potential role.
Lohan — who’s reportedly dropping her last name and going by just “Lindsay” — was in LA last week when her lawyers notified the deputy district attorney there that she wouldn’t accept a plea deal in the case, where she stands accused of stealing a $2,500 diamond necklace from a jewelry store. It will now move to a trial, with Lohan possibly facing another stint in jail. Meanwhile, she’s expected to return to New York this week, perhaps to continue her sober partying around local hot spots as she did a few weeks back.
