Jennifer Lawrence gave Josh Hutcherson concussion on ‘Hunger Games’ set

Jennifer Lawrence may be a fashion plate, but she’s also tough. Her “Hunger Games” co-star Josh Hutcherson reveals that Lawrence gave him a nasty concussion while they were “goofing around” on the set of the film.

“We were just goofing around, and like doing some shadow boxing for fun,” Hutcherson said on the “Late Show with David Letterman” Wednesday. “She throws this beautiful kick, but it landed right on my temple and literally knocked me to the ground. I was down. I was seeing stars and she was freaking out, crying.”

While Hutcherson, the ex of Vanessa Hudgens, was embarrassed, he didn’t realize that the injury was serious.

“I didn’t want to make a big deal about it,” Hutcherson explained. “But the next day somebody asked me for my address and I started telling them my address from when I was nine years old. That’s when I was like, ‘This is not right.’ Jennifer felt terrible about it, but it was kind of hilarious.”

“The Hunger Games,” which opens in theaters Friday, is poised to be as big a film franchise as “The Twilight Saga.” While Lawrence has stunned at multiple premieres and screenings, it’s reported that her performance as Katniss Everdeen caught the eye of one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, Brad Pitt. A source tells Star magazine that Pitt “flipped” for Lawrence and “hasn’t stopped talking about how gorgeous, poised and talented Jennifer is. Brad is determined to find a project to collaborate on.”
