Ethan Hawke was asked at the Theatre Communications Group’s salon the other night at The Players Club what his parents thought of him becoming an actor. He said: “My parents thought all actors were secretly drug addicts, except for Clint Eastwood, whom they admired. But they thought it was very unlikely that I would ever be Clint Eastwood.” Also there: Manny Azenberg, André Bishop, Anna Strasberg, Mario Buatta, Sharon Bush and Loudon Wainwright.
