Entrepreneurial model Tyra Banks has sold a scripted show based on her life to ABC. The creator of “America’s Next Top Model” has sold “Fivehead,” a comedy based on the beauty’s teen years as she made her way through high school in LA to the biggest catwalks in fashion. The title is a play on Banks’ notable forehead. She’s reportedly co-creating and executive-producing the show with longtime friend and TV writer Kenya Barris. Banks’ “ANTM” is currently in its 19th season on the CW network. She recently gave the show a face-lift, firing several judges and mentors and adding male model Rob Burns, stylist Johnny Wujek and fashion blogger Bryanboy to the program.
