Taylor Swift: Why I don’t take my clothes off

Unlike Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry who constantly push the envelope with their overt sexuality, Taylor Swift is happy with her sugary-sweet image.

The six-time Grammy winner recently told The Sun that she wants to be known for her music, not for her body.

“I don’t really take my clothes off because I don’t think I can pull it off,” said the country-pop singer. “Also, most people are only going to focus on one or two things about you — I want that to be that I write my own songs, not that I have great abs.”

Swift, whose newest album “Red” dropped yesterday, shared to the UK publication how she started writing songs. “It started out when I was lonely at school. I felt rejected — no one ever invited me to their parties. So I wrote it all down and I’ve been doing it ever since.”

Well, she’s certainly come far from her school outcast days. Forbes recently listed the singer’s 2011 earnings to the staggering sum of $57 million. She also lists showbiz friends Selena Gomez and Emma Stone as pals.

However, Swift admits they’re just regular girls (albeit ridiculously famous girls). “You’d think we’d get together and discuss the stresses of fame but we actually just talk about boys like all the other girls. We don’t run through each other’s scripts or compare set lists.”
